In 2010 we initiated a project planned to be a remixes release of songs off Detta Har Hänt (Transubstans Records, 2009) but as we got a lot of other things to do we unfortunately didn’t manage to pull it all off. However, we still received a few good remixes and this is one of them, made by our favourite Transubstans Records label mates; Villebråd.

Things have been quiet for a while as they have been recording a new record for some time now but there is a pretty recent interview over at progarchives.com. Make sure to check it out!

It seems like we have become a little lazy with writing new blogs posts lately as almost all kind of news end up on Facebook as short notes instead (>> make sure you connect with us there if you have not already done so <<). Doesn’t really feel like that is the right direction … Anyhow, this first post is a recap of something we posted on FB in december a few days after we had that break-in in our studio which caused our new recordings to halt for some time.

The song was recorded at Debaser Malmö in January 2010, almost exactly two years ago.  We hope you will like it.

While it took “Tid är Ljud (2007) about three years to sell out and “Detta har Hänt (2009) almost one – we were informed a few days ago that the first batch of Glue Works CDs sold out in approx. three months! Pretty pretty good! Having that said, the CD is once again available in our webshop!

Ok, so… the GOOD news is that the BAD news is not that bad after all, it is basically just a slight change of plans. In order to get the album out in the stores – physical as well as online – we will be hooking up with Sound Pollution distribution to make this happen on a national level. This adds a few weeks of work and we have therefore decided to postpone the Swedish release for Glue Works with about a month.

So instead of the previous and somewhat vague release date of “last week in April”  the new one will be Friday May 27 – one day before our release party.

BUT. Since we like the idea of keeping our word, we will do our very best to ship all pre-orders that have already been made the same week we get the LPs – which still will be sometime during the last week of April. So if you for instance live in Sweden and have not already made a pre-order, you still have the chance to get the album about one month before everyone else as we will split the shipping dates counting from this Saturday (April 16). Place your order on Friday and get it soon. Do the same on Saturday and wait until May 27. This goes for international pre-orders as well.

With such a depressing post as the one from yesterday (regarding the cancellation of NEARfest) it feels natural to move on in a more positive way and what could possibly suit better than a preview song from Glue Works?

Below is a full version of 354, the opening track which in some ways continues where Detta Har Hänt left off, but with a few twists that reveals something quite different. This is the only track from the new album that we have performed live so far, so you might have heard it. Hope you like it as much as we do.

On Monday we will relaunch the webshop, including pre-orders for both versions of Glue Works (CD + vinyl) so until then – have a great weekend.
