A nice review

15 September 2009 by alex, 1 Comment

While waiting for next week’s shows in Stockholm, Gothenburg & Copenhagen we thought that we should share a nice review of DHH with you. Read it, listen to the album and tell us what you think.

“After a really promising debut, quite a few artists suffer on their second release. It’s a syndrome commonly known as “the sophomore jinx” and can really hurt a young band’s career. There are, however, a few that just seem to laugh in the face of such adversity. The Swedish group Gösta Berlings Saga is one such example.”

“The music still contains quite a few nods to classic Scandinavian and other progressive rock but also features a fresh experimentalism that sets them apart from their contemporaries.”

“Detta Har Hänt is nothing short of an instrumental masterpiece.”

Celebrating Detta Har Hänt

Even though Detta Har Hänt is already officially released there is of course one thing missing to make the album truly and ultimately released. Yes, we are talking about the mandatory release party. This time it will be held at Lilla Hotellbaren the 23:rd of September and is organized by the fine folks at Fritzs Corner. We will play a live set, and the record will of course be for sale. You can also expect mindblowing DJ-sets as well as other surprises. It will be a blast, we promise. More info can be found here.

Also we have some newly confirmed gigs, one of them is our first gig in Denmark, at Dragenshule in Copenhagen the 26:th of September (which is the day after our Gothenburg-gig at Frölunda kulturhus) . The second gig is a revisit to the club Groddar & Gräsrötter in Stockholm the 22:nd of October.

So, lots of chances to see us this autumn. Be there!
