Finally. If you live in either France, Spain, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, USA, England, Italy, Germany, Norway, Poland, Luxembourg, Israel, Romania, Sweden or Switzerland and have pre-ordered Detta Har Hänt, expect mail within the next few days!

A few weeks ago one of us was looking for some old audible treasures on Soulseek before breakfast. After having queued up some downloads and having checked that our new album was not in the folder of shared files (well, we would of course like to try getting some money back into the financial wheels of GBS…), the person in question left the computer for a while. Some minutes later, he got back only to find out in awe that one person  had downloaded Detta Har Hänt in its full glory! The reason it slipped through the check was because it was named in some strange way by the mastering company from whom we had received it earlier!

As much trouble we have had with getting this album both recorded and released, it would feel pretty sad to see it floating around the internet in an unfinished form, so with as many fingers as possible crossed, a message was sent to the downloader asking to delete and unshare the files in exchange for a cd once it is out.  Luckily this German fellow was really nice to us and promised to bury (!) it once he had listened to it once!

The day after, we got an email:

Hi xxxxxxx,
what a lucky meeting in the morning seekin’ for souls !I listened to the detta her hänt (test) only once and afterwards I burried it as I promised (look out at the attachement).It’s really great stuff and I would be really honoured if you send me a copy of the fixed version !Best wishes and thanx for your wonderfull music keep on goin’

So if you are in Germany and find a recently digged hole, it might be your lucky day. Or pre-order it and you don’t have to look for holes in the ground! 2 weeks left!
